The 3.1 mile (5k) walk is a family friendly event that is meant to encourage physical activity and a heart-healthy lifestyle; in addition to raising awareness for Cardiovascular and Stroke diseases.
All funds raised go to support Cardiovascular and Stroke Research as Cardiovascular disease is still the number one killer for Americans.

For those of you (like me) who love to bring your dog with you as many places as possible, this is a dog friendly event.
